Notes

Perennial grass to 50cm tall.  Leaves with a hairless leaf sheath at the base.  Ligule a membrane without a fringe of hairs. Leaves flat, rolled, or the edges rolled inwards, 15-20cm long, 2-3mm wide, surface rough, margins rough.  Spikelets  9-11mm long, excluding the awn. Mature seed groups spreading. Seeds with one long awn.  Endangered NSW.  Protected NSW.  Vulnerable SA.  Vulnerable Vic.
