Notes
Perennial grass 20-50cm tall. Leaves with a hairy sheath at the base. Ligule a membrane with a fringe of hairs. Leaves to 13cm long, 1-5mm wide, flat, rolled, or the edges rolled inwards, hairy to hairless, the margins with short hairs. Spikelets 6-8mm long. Mature seed groups spreading. Seeds with one long awn. Rare SA. Presumed extinct Vic.
