Perennial forb with a woody base to 50cm tall. Basal leaves withering early. Stem leaves alternating up the stems, 2-8.5cm long, 2-10mm wide, flat to linear, sparsely to densely woolly, margins smooth or lobed, with 3 teeth or lobes at the tips, occasionally with blunt or pointed tips. Flower heads with 32-35 white to mauve 'petals' with yellow centres. Flowers single at the ends of the stems.
