Annual forb to 10cm tall. Leaves opposite each other, sheathing at the base, 0.4-3cm long, flat to linear, hairless to sticky hairy, the lowermost with entire margins, the others lobed with pointed tips, lobes 1mm wide. Flowers with 15-18 tiny white 'petals' and yellow centres. Flowers single at the ends of the stems. Brachyscome perpusilla var. tenella in NSW.
