Introduced annual forb to 40cm tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, mostly stem clasping, 2-6cm long, 3-18mm wide, flat, sticky hairy to almost rough, edges entire or toothed. Flower heads bell-shaped, with many orange-yellow 'petals' and yellow centres. Flowers single at the ends of the stems.
