Aromatic perennial forb to 30cm tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.4-2.5cm long, 2-8mm wide, flat, hairless or almost hairless, resin-dotted on both surfaces, edges toothed, tips more or less pointed. Flower heads greenish, with 0 petals, in ones or twos at the bases of the leaves or branches, sometimes at the ends of the smallest branches. Rare Vic.
Differs from Centipeda crateriformis ssp. crateriformis in that the flower heads are cup-shaped and flat on top.
