Shrub or tree to 8m tall. Leaves somewhat fleshy, alternating up the stems, 3-12cm long, 1-3mm wide, linear, hairless, with pointed tips. Male and female flowers on the same plant or on different plants. Flowers with 0 petals, in racemes at the ends of the branchlets or at the bases of the leaves. Apparently now only in SA, but collected early in the twentieth century in the Pooncarie district. Vulnerable Australia. Extinct NSW. Protected NSW. Endangered SA.
