Introduced spreading annual forb to 20cm tall. Leaves alternating along the stems, with a basal sheath, slightly stem-clasping, 1-6cm long, 10-20mm wide, hairless or slightly hairy, deeply dissected into linear segments with mostly toothed edges and pointed tips. Flower heads cream with a yellow centre, with 0 petals, hemispherical, single at the ends of the stems, stalks 5-20mm long.
