Notes
Annual forb to 20cm tall, or trailing, often mat-forming, in water or mud. Leaves sometimes slightly fleshy, opposite each other, the leaves of each pair united at the base to form a collar round the stem, 0.2-1.2cm long, 0.8-3mm wide, flat, tips pointed. Flowers small (less than 3mm across), with 4 white petals, solitary on stalks arising from the bases of the leaves.
