Notes
Shrub 70cm-1.8m tall. Leaves alternating along the stem, 0.4-1cm long, 2-4mm wide, flat, hairy, with smooth edges and more or less blunt tips. Flower heads white with brownish bracts and green bases, cylindrical, with 0 'petals', borne stalkless and singly at the ends of short branchlets. Resembles Maireana astrotricha and Maireana sedifolia in general appearance when not in flower. Endangered NSW. Protected NSW. Endangered Vic.
