Perennial forb, prostrate. Leaves alternating along the stems, compound, with 3 leaflets, leaflets 1-5cm long, 7-40mm wide, flat, hairier on the lower surface, toothed. Flowers white with a pink blotch, pink, or purple, pea-shaped with 5 petals, two almost joined together. Flowers that self-pollinate without opening are white. Flowers in clusters, the stalks arisng from the bases of the leaves. Endangered Vic. Threatened list Vic.
