Puffball-like fungi to 3cm across. The mature fruiting body comes loose from the mycelium below and turns 180 degrees, so that the hole through which the spores are released is facing upwards. Disciseda irregularis, Disciseda kaloola, Disciseda kiata, and Disciseda verrucosa in the area. Family formerly Agaricaceae.
