Prostrate or erect annual or short lived perennial forb to 20cm tall.  Leaves to 1cm long, flat, sparsely sticky-hairy, edges entire, with rounded tips.  Flowers tiny (less than 3mm across), green, in dense clusters at the bases of the leaves, the endmost flower in each cluster bisexual, the side flowers female.
