Shrub to 1m tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, clustered and overlapping, 0.2-1.1cm long, 2-7mm wide, folded together lengthwise, hairless or sparsely hairy, tips blunt, sometimes with a point. Flowers mauve or rarely white, bell-shaped, with 2-lipped with 5 lobes, borne singly at the bases of the leaves. Rare Vic. Family Myoporaceae in SA.
