Shrub to 2m tall. Branches sometimes spine-tipped. Leaves alternating up the stems, 0.4-3.5cm long, 1-4mm wide, flat, hairless, slightly sticky hairy, tips blunt with a small curved point. Flowers blue, mauve to pinkish lilac (rarely white), bell-shaped, 2-lipped, with 5 lobes, solitary at the bases of the leaves. Family Myoporaceae in SA. Rare Vic.
