Shrub to 4m tall. Leaves aromatic when crushed, alternating up the stems, 1-5.2cm long, 0.5-3mm wide, flat to almost cylindrical, sticky, warty, often with a hooked point, tips occasionally with a straight point or blunt. Flowers mauve to deep purplish pink, rarely white, tubular, with five lobes, borne singly, sometimes in pairs, at the bases of the leaves. Family Myoporaceae in SA. Endangered Vic. Threatened list Vic.
