Tree to 10m tall. Bark smooth, sometimes coppery. Oil glands in the pith of the small branchlets. Leaves aromatic when crushed, alternating up the stems, 7-12cm long, 8-25mm wide, hairless, flat, dull, glaucous to grey-green weathering to glossy, with a straight or curved point. Flowers white, with 0 petals, in clusters of 3-7 at the bases of the leaves or along the stems. Bud caps about the same length as the base. Nuts that have dropped their seed have triangular protruding valves. Native to WA.
