Notes
Mallee to 6m tall. Bark smooth or with a ragged stocking of partially shed strips at the base or a fibrous base. Smooth bark sometimes orange-borwn. Branchlets with oil glands in the pith. Leaves aromatic when crushed, alternating up the stems, 7-16cm long, 17-35mm wide, flat, hairless, dull, grey-blue to glaucous. Flowers white to cream, with 0 petals, in clusters of 7-11 at the bases of the leaves. Bud caps shorter than the base. Buds & nuts often with longitudinal lines or ribs. Nut valves not very noticeable. Rare Vic.
