Notes
Mallee or tree to 12m tall. Bark rough below, smooth above. Smooth bark sometimes orange. Branchlets with or without oil glands in the pith. Leaves aromatic when crushed, alternating up the stems, 5-13cm long, 6-25mm wide, flat, hairless, glossy green, with entire or somewhat scalloped edges. Flowers white, with 0 petals, in clust3ers of 3-7 at the bases of the leaves. Bud cap as long as the base or shorter than it. Nut valves not very noticeable.
