Notes

Tree or mallee 4.5m tall.  Bark smooth, beige.  Bark on branchlets white, covered with wax.  Leaves aromatic when crushed, alternating along the stem or opposite each other, flat, 5-11cm long, 25-45mm wide, glaucous, hairless, with smooth edges, and a straight or curved point.  Flowers red, in clusters of 3 at the bases of the leaves.  Unknown buds and nuts. 

Planted near the Visitor Centre at Scotia Sanctuary. An unknown cultivar.
