Annual or short lived perennial forb, prostrate or with ascending branches to 30cm long. Leaves alternating along the stems or opposite each other, often appearing whorled, 0.5-3cm long, 6-20mm wide, flat, hairy. Flowers with 5 'petals', white, yellow, or pale green on the inside, in clusters of 1-8 flowers at the bases of the leaves. Family Aizoaceae in NSW and SA.
