Aquatic or terrestrial annual or short lived perennial forb, prostrate, sometimes mat-forming, to 2cm tall. Leaves clustered, blades 0.2-1cm long, 1-3mm wide, flat, hairless. Flowers small (less than 3mm across), with 0 petals, solitary at the bases of the leaves. Flowers self-pollinate without opening. Family Scrophulariaceae in NSW and SA. Rare Vic.
