Perennial forb to 20cm tall. Leaves basal and alternating up the stems, sometimes clustered, 3-10cm long, 2-14mm wide, flat, glaucous, hairless or sparsely hairy, edges toothed or entire. Flowers yellow, tubular, the tube split to the base, with 5 lobes, solitary on stalks arising from the bases of the leaves.
