Annual or perennial forb to 30cm tall or sprawling. Leaves leathery to succulent, alternating up the stems, linear to flat, to 5cm long, 1-3mm wide, hairless, with entire edges and blunt tips. Sometimes leafless in dry conditions. Flowers with 4 white petals with purple veins, in racemes which lengthen as the fruiting bodies mature, at the tops of the stems. Endangered Vic.
