Annual to perennial forb to 60cm tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, 1-9cm long, 1-15mm wide, flat to linear, hairless, with pointed tips, edges hairy to hairless, and lobed or toothed to entire. Flowers tiny (less than 3mm across), with 0 or 4 tiny petals, in racemes which elongate as the fruiting bodies mature, at the tops of the stems. Poorly known Vic.
