Annual or short lived perennial forb or shrub to 40cm tall. Leaves more or less succulent, alternating up the stems, 1-2cm long, about 1mm diameter, narrow cylindrical, hairy to hairless. Flowers tiny (less than 3mm across), solitary at the bases of the leaves. Fruit initially succulent outside, hairy to hairless, with 5 short narrow teeth at the tip. Endangered Vic.
