Notes

Perennial grass, mat-forming, to 60cm tall. Leaves with a hairless sheath (with hairy margins near the top of the sheath) at the base. Ligule a membrane without a fringe of hairs. Leaves rolled or flat, 2-22cm long, 2-9mm wide, hairless or rough, tapering to a point. Spikelets pale green, 2-4mm long. Seeds with 0 awns. Mature seed groups cylindrical.
