Notes

Annual grass to 50cm tall. Leaves with a hairless sheath at the base. Ligule a membrane without a fringe of hairs. Leaves flat, 1-15cm long, 1-4mm wide, usually slightly rough on the surface and margins. Spikelets pale, greenish, or purplish, 4-13mm long. Seeds with 0 bristles. Mature seed groups cylindrical. Rare SA. Rare Vic.
