Perennial forb to 30cm tall or prostrate. Leaves clustered at the base of the plant and alternating along the stems. Leaves 2-15cm long, to 30mm wide, flat, hairy when young. Flowers greenish, wwith white hairs on the outside, tubular, with 5 'petals'. Flower heads oval to spherical, solitary at the ends of the stems.
