Annual forb to 30cm tall, or prostrate. Leaves opposite each other to alternating up the stems, 0.4-1.5cm long, less than 1mm wide, linear, cobwebby to woolly, with margins curved down and pointed tips. Flowers white, woolly, with 0 petals. Flower heads oval, numerous in dense leafy clusters at the ends of the stems, or the stalks arising from the bases of the leaves.
