Slender annual or perennial forb to 20cm tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, 1.5-4cm long, about 1mm wide, linear, hairless, with scattered sticky hairs, often woolly near the base, with the edges turned down. Flowers white or yellow with a yellow centre, with many 'petals'. Flower heads broad cylindrical to bell-shaped, in open clusters at the ends of the stems.
