Woody perennial forb or shrub to 40cm tall. Leaves usually succulent, 0.4-1cm long, linear, flattened cylindrical to narrow and flat, hairy, tips pointed. Flowers small (less than 3mm across), solitary at the bases of the leaves. Burrs more or less hairy, with 5 spines. Vulnerable Vic.
