Notes

Shrub or short lived perennial forb to 30cm tall or sprawling to prostrate.  Leaves usually succulent, 0.5-2.5cm long, linear, flattened narrow cylindrical, hairy.  Flowers tiny (less than 3mm across), solitary at the bases of the leaves.  Burrs sparsely to densely hairy, with 2 spines.
