Shrub 1-3m tall. Leaves alternating up the stem,s composed of 3-8 pairs of leaflets, each leaflet 1-2cm long, cylindrical, channelled above, or linear with the edges rolled inwards, sparsely to densely hairy. Flowers fragrant. Flowers yellow, with 5 petals. Flowers clusters of 4-12 flowers, the stalks arisng from the bases of the leaves. Family was Caesalpiniaceae. Presumed extinct Vic (as Senna form taxon 'artemisioides').
