Perennial forb or shrub to 2m tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, 1.5-6cm long, 4-30mm wide, flat, hairy, with toothed margins. Flowers with 5 yellow petals, solitary or in clusters of 2-6 on stalks arising from the bases of the leaves, or apparently in stalked clusters of 2-6 at the tops of the stems.
