Faintly scented perennial forb to about 40cm tall. Leaves opposite each other or in whorls of 3 or 4, to 2-5cm long, 1-5mm wide, flat, margins toothed. Flowers blue-purple, tubular, 2-lipped with 5 lobes, solitary on stalks that arise from the bases of leaf-like bracts, forming open leafy racemes at the tops of the stems. Family Scrophulariaceae in NSW and SA. Poorly known Vic.
