Perennial forb to 30cm tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, compound, with 5-13 leaflets, each 0.1-2.5cm long, 1-4mm wide, flat, hairy, rarely hairless. Tips of the side leaflets pointed, or rounded and notched with a point in the notch, often looking as if the tip is 3-toothed. Tips of the end leaflets pointed or rounded, sometimes notched. Flowers orange to red, brown, or yellowish, pea-shaped, with 5 petals, 2 almost joined together. Flowers in racemes of 5-20+ flowers. Endangered Vic.
