Notes
Perennial grass 20-60cm tall. Densely woolly base. Leaves mostly alternating up the stems, with a hairy sheath with hairy margins at the base. Ligule a fringe of hairs. Leaves 1-6.5cm long, 2-5mm wide, flat, bristly, hairy, margins rough hairy, with straight points. Spikelets green, 4-8mm long. Mature seed groups cylindrical. Many short bristles on the seed.
