Perennial forb to 30cm tall, the leaves annual. Leaves clustered at the base of the plant, with a sheath at the base, 6-13cm long, narrow linear, more or less cylindrical, withering early. Flowers blue to mauve, with 6 ‘petals’, in groups of 1-5 on the flowering stems and at the tops of the stems. Family Liliaceae in SA, Anthericaceae in NSW.
