Annual forb to 90cm tall. Leaves forming a rosette at the base of the plant, 5-30cm long, 14-80mm wide, flat, hairless, edges toothed to lobed or entire. Stem 'leaves' fused into cups around the stems, 20-60mm diameter, hairless, edge toothed or entire. Flowers yellow or brownish yellow to white, pink, or mauve, tubular, the tube split to the base, with five lobes, solitary or in open groups on one or more stalks arising from the stem 'leaves'. Rare Vic.
