Perennial forb to 30cm tall. Leaves alternating up the stems, 1-2.2cm long, 2-4mm wide, flat to folded together lengthwise, sticky hairy, with entire or lobed edges and a curved point. Flower heads violet to pink, with many 'petals'. Flower heads below the 'petals' borne singly or in small groups at the ends of the stems. Rare Vic.
