Annual or perennial forb to 60cm tall or prostrate. Stems rather succulent. Leaves opposite each other, 0.8-5cm long, 15-25mm wide, flat, hairless. Flowers with 5 white to pink or purple 'petals', clustered at the bases of the leaves.
