
This species has not been studied by the present authors. It is probably a synonym of the common F. occidentalis, although the antennae of the holotype are longer than usual (Nakahara, 1997: 378).
Currently F. yuccae cannot be distinguished satisfactorily from F. occidentalis.
Presumably flower-living, and taken from Yucca.
Recorded only from California.
