Nomenclature

Aleurodicus juleikae  Bondar, 1923: 78-80.

Distribution: Neotropical: Brazil [Bondar, 1923: 78][NHM, London][S.E.L.], Colombia [S.E.L.], Suriname [S.E.L.],  Venezuela [S.E.L.].

Host:  Loranthaceae Phoradendron platycaulon [Costa Lima, 1968: 107],  Phrygilanthus sp. [Bondar, 1923: 80];  Indet Genus; Tiliaceae: Triumfetta semitriloba [Costa Lima, 1968: 107].  

Taxonomy:  Margin not dentate.  Pupal case with 7 pairs of compound pores.  Anterior abdominal pair of compound pores about as wide as lingula and large; the other abdominal pairs diminish in size posteriorly.  Dorsal septate pores present;  submarginal double-rimmed pores absent.

Natural Enemies:[Costa Lima,1968:  106]:  Encarsia gallardoi sp. aff. [Hymenoptera, Aphelinidae].

Related genera:  Similar to   Aleurodicus cocois (Curtis),  Aleurodicus guppyi Quaintance & Baker, and Aleurodicus pulvinatus (Maskell) with the double-rimmed pores absent.   Differing with the anterior abdominal pair of compound pores about as wide as lingula and large; the other abdominal pairs diminish in size posteriorly.
