Nomenclature

Aleurodicus cinnamomi Takahashi  [Takahashi, 1951: 1-2].

Biology [Takahashi, 1951: 1]:Pale yellowish green pupal case with thin waxy threads.

Distribution: Australasian: Malaya [Takahashi, 1951: 1-2][NHM, London]; Oriental:  Singapore [NHM, London].

Host:  Lauraceae [Takahashi, 1951: 1]:   Cinnamomum sp. &  Persea (Machilus) sp.

Taxonomy [Takahashi, 1951: 1]: Margin dentate. Pupa with 6 pairs of compound pores (some may be very small); caudal pair of compound pores subequal or larger than other five anterior abdominal pairs of compound pores; anterior- 3 abdominal pair of compound pores sub equal in size, smaller than cephalic & posterior two pairs of compound pores; central processes of cephalic & posterior two compound pores much longer than other processes; transverse suture not reaching margin.

Natural Enemies: Unknown.

Related Genera:  Closely allied to Aleurodicus antidesmae Takahashi & Aleurodicus machili Takahashi because of dentate margin.  Differs from the number (Aleurodicus antidesmae Takahashi) or size of (Aleurodicus machili Takahashi) compound pores.
