Taxonomy: Margin not dentate.  Pupal case with 5 pairs of compound pores; caudal compound pores anterior & lateral of vasiform orifice; reniform septate pores extending lateral between posterior two compound pores on abdomen, absent posterior of lingula on segment VIII; wide-rimmed pores distributed 3-6 deep between lingula and row of double-rimmed pores. Lingula elongate, sides slightly concave or somewhat parallel medially. Caudal setae located in wide-rimmed pores anterior to row of double-rimmed pores.

Natural Enemies: Unknown.

Related Genera:  Aleurodicus coccolobae Quaintance and Baker, Aleurodicus flavus Hempel, and Aleurodicus dispersus Russell are closely allied and form a group that is set apart from other species of Aleurodicus by the characteristics of its so-called "simple pores."
