Distribution: Neotropical: Jamaica [Cockerell, 1902: 280][NHM, London].

Host:  Arecaceae  [NHM, London] Cocos nucifera Fabaceae:  Mikania cordifolia .

Taxonomy:  Margin not dentate.  Pupal case with 6 compound pores with the caudal pair of abdominal compound pores smaller than the other abdominal pores.  Wide-rimmed pores in a broad, submarginal band, not extending mesad of or between abdominal compound pores; submarginal double-rimmed pores absent;  submargin & subdorsum with scattered septate pores in addition to a single transverse and segmented row in the median region of the abdomen.

Natural Enemies: Unknown.

Related genera:  Similar to Aleurodicus antillensis Dozier with wide-rimmed pores in a broad, submarginal band, not extending mesad of or between abdominal compound pores;   submargin & subdorsum with scattered septate pores in addition to a single transverse and segmented row in the median region of the abdomen.  Differentiated by the complete absence of submarginal double-rimmed pores.
