Biology [Takahashi, 1931: 208]: Pupal case subovate, pale yellow with white marginal secretions and many shiny white, thin, straight wax-rods.

Taxonomy [Takahashi, 1931: 208-209]: Margin dentate with about 55 pairs of short teeth. Pupal case with 6 pairs of compound pores; first abdominal pair reduced, caudal pair subequal to or larger, and the remaining abdominal pairs of compound pores subequal in size. Midthoracic suture reaching margin; transverse suture does not reach margin.
Natural Enemies [Huang & Polaszek, 1996][Chou & Chou, 1994]: Encarsiella taiwanensis (Hymenoptera, Aphelinidae).
Related genera [Takahashi, 1931: 209]: Closely related to Aleurodicus antidesmae Corbett both having a dentate margin but differs in the number of compound pore pairs, shorter central processes etc.
