Biology [Takahashi, 1931: 208]: Pupal case subovate,  pale yellow with white marginal secretions and many shiny white, thin, straight wax-rods.

Distribution: Oriental:   Hong Kong [Takahashi, 1941: 351][S.E.L.], India [S.E.L.],  Taiwan [Takahashi, 1931: 208-209]][S.E.L.].

Host:  Lauraceae  :  Actinodaphne pedicellata  [Takahashi, 1932: 7];  Cinnamomum  sp. [Takahashi, 1941: 351];  Persea (Machilus) sp. [Takahashi, 1931: 209]

Taxonomy [Takahashi, 1931: 208-209] Margin dentate with about 55 pairs of short teeth.  Pupal case with 6 pairs of compound pores; first abdominal pair reduced, caudal pair subequal to or larger,  and the remaining abdominal pairs of compound pores subequal in size. Midthoracic suture reaching margin; transverse suture does not reach margin.

Natural Enemies [Huang & Polaszek, 1996][Chou & Chou, 1994]: Encarsiella taiwanensis (Hymenoptera, Aphelinidae).

Related genera [Takahashi, 1931: 209] Closely related to Aleurodicus antidesmae Corbett both having a dentate margin but differs in the number of compound pore pairs, shorter central processes etc.
