Distribution: Neotropical:  Cuba [S.E.L.], Haiti [S.E.L.],  Jamaica [Cockerell,  1893: 105-106] [NHM, London] [S.E.L.];  Puerto  Rico [S.E.L.];   Palaearctic:  Italy [S.E.L.].

Host: Arecaceae:  Cocos nucifera  [NHM, London]; Solanaceae: Capsicum sp. [Cockerell,  1893: 105] .

Taxonomy:  Margin not dentate. Pupal case with 6 pairs of compound pores present; caudal abdominal pair of compound pores smaller than anterior abdominal pairs.  Wide-rimmed pore band absent; double-rimmed pores present in regularly spaced, submarginal row;  simple pores in 2 irregular rows between margin & double-rimmed pores.

Natural Enemies: Unknown.

Related genera: Similar to Aleurodicus flavus Hempel, Aleurodicus antillensis Dozier, & Aleurodicus jamaicensis Cockerell with the caudal pair of compound pores smaller than the other abdominal pores. Differs from Aleurodicus flavus Hempel,  Aleurodicus antillensis Dozier, & Aleurodicus jamaicensis Cockerell with the wide-rimmed pore band absent.
