Compound pores consist of two sizes (all without obvious central processes):
Cephalic & 3 anterior abdominal compound pores saucer-shaped and subequal in size .
3 posterior abdominal compound pores bell-shaped & reduced in size with the 4th abdominal pore offset (somewhat adjacent to the last larger abdominal compound pore.
Cephalic submedian setae absent.
Lingula exserted.
Distribution: Nearctic: Mexico [S.E.L.]; Neotropical: Belize [Martin 2004 Zootaxa 32], Panama [Martin 2004 Zootaxa 32].
Host: indet Family/Genus; Rutaceae: Citrus [Martin 2004 Zootaxa 32].
Natural Enemies: Unknown.
Related Species [Martin 2004 Zootaxa 32][Sampson & Drews,1941]:
Compound pore arrangement close to Aleuronudus melzeri Bondar & A. jequiensis Bondar. According to Sampson, closely related to Metaleurodicus bahiensis Hempel comb.nov. This species used to be under Aleuronudus until Martin transferred the species into Metaleurodicus.
